The End of Broadcast Radio

This play began in my second year of Young Playwright Inc's Advanced Playwriting Workshop (Spring 2014). It's 100% inspired by my experience working on OutCasting (public radio program dealing with issues through the lives of LGBT youth), and the crazy world of community radio.

The play takes place in the studio of a community radio station on the last night of its spring fundraising drive. In a last minute effort to save the station from being shut down, some of the volunteers work to sabotage all the other radio broadcasters around them.

This is a full length play I'm still working on, and hoping to see staged soon.
The most current draft of the play and a sample is available via my page on the NewPlayExchange, or can be obtained by emailing scripts@travisamiel.com
